“Training Program on Germplasm Resource Molecular Marker Development and Precision Identification Techniques” organized by the Institute of Medicinal Plant Development, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences was held from 24-27 July 2024 in Beijing.
The training program included the sessions of “Advantages and Methods of DNA Identification in Traditional Chinese Medicine” and “The Significance and Application of DNA Barcoding.”
Our Centre Director, Prof. Pang-Chui Shaw was invited to give a talk on “Molecular authentication of herbal material – From DNA fingerprinting to next-generation sequencing”.
