Interdisciplinary Conservations on Wildlife Trade (ICWT) conference was held from 13-14th May, 2024 in Tai Kwun, Hong Kong. The conference aims at exploring the global and regional issues from the position of Hong Kong, one of the world’s hot spots for illegal and unstable wildlife trade (IUWT). It included a range of talks scheduled from local and international speakers, covering a range of disciplines from government, inter-government, academic, and NGO organisations.
Our Centre Director, Prof. Pang Chui Shaw, was invited to give a talk on ‘Development of DNA protocols for efficient identification of CITES listed wood and shark samples’.
