In collaboration with School of Chinese Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Centre organized the first series of workshops featuring on microscopic identification of Chinese Materia Medica for the industry in March, 2016. Experts in Chinese Medicine from the Department of Health and School of Chinese Medicine were invited to introduce the application of microscopic identification in authentication of Chinese medicinal materials. The common methods and common non-conformities were introduced and followed by demonstration and practices.
