The 18th Meeting of Consortium for Globalization of Chinese Medicine (CGCM) was held at Crowne Plaza Shanghai Pujiang in Shanghai from 8 to 10 August 2019.
The meeting is organized by CGCM Shanghai Chapter this year, with the joint effort of many local institutes and members, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in particular. The meeting aims to foster academic exchanges and research collaborations on various frontiers of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in pursuing the goal of advancing the field of TCM and benefit human kind. A variety of themes were covered during the 3-day meeting, including acupuncture, bioinformatics, clinical investigations, Chinese Medicine resources, natural products, polychemical activities and mechanism studies, regulation and interregional collaborations in academia, government and industry.

A research staff, Dr. Yat Tung LO, gave a poster presentation on the topic of ‘ Molecular Authentication of Ginseng Constitutes in Highly Processed Decoctions and Medicinal Granules’.
